Sub.: Palestinian Authority's Lose-Lose Solution          (September 1, 2011)

Jennifer Rubin's outstanding analysis ‘Did the Palestinian Authority think through its U.N. gambit?' (28AUG2011) - is questioning, why the Palestinian Authority wants to apply to the U.N. for statehood, in spite of the overwhelming risks for the Palestinians themselves of such a unilateral step.

I am offering an answer, although I hate the true point in it.

Why? Because wise counterparts always go for Win-Win. Narrow-minded egoists always attempt I-Win-you-Lose. And Palestinian leaders always try a third one: Lose-Lose.  If they can only hope that harm will be done to Israel, they do not mind the harm done to their own people.
